"Kwitcherbitchin 7th" was a P-47D-27-RE flown by Major Randall "Pinky" Hendricks, of the 368th Fighter Group, 397th Fighter Squadron, 9th Air Force.
It is depicted as it would have appeared in the summer of 1944.
Hendricks was the top scoring ace with the 368th, having shot down four Fw190's on the 12th June 1944 followed by a Bf109 on the 22nd June 1944.
