Application to triangulate the position of a radar source.
I wrote this application as a study of the geodetic triangulation problem.
The program accepts up to 10 GPS coordinates plus bearings assuming the WGS84 ellipsoid. It triangulates the source position using a weighted mean based on the GDOP (geometric dilution of precision) for each measurement pair.
You may use it in DCS:World to find the position of radar sources on your RWR. Put the threat on your 3 or 9 o'clock, mark your position and heading and add, respectively subtract 90 degrees to find the bearing.
Note: the A-10 uses magnetic heading, therefore enter the local magnetic variation in the corresponding field. AFAIK the KA-50 uses true heading, so in this case leave the value at 0.
Good luck finding those SAMs.
Version 1.2.0: Fixed a bug with the magnetic variation, fully tested now for all hemispheres.
