Spring 1982: strap in in the brand new Aermacchi MB-339 to achieve the impossible, repel the british fleet!
After decades of failed negotiations, in 1982 Argentina ditched diplomacy and took the Falkland matter in its own hands.
The Falklands, or Malvinas, is an archipelago, just east off the Argentine coast, that has been contested for hundreds of years between Argentina and the United Kingdom. Being mostly uninhabited, and back in 1982 still believed to be resourceless, it became the prize of a fierce and undeclared war over principles and national pride.
You are a young pilot of Armada Argentina, you were training on the A-4Q, but news of the war brought you back to the airplane you know how to fight in, the Aermacchi MB-339A (MC.33 in the Argentine service). You will deploy to Port Stanley, now renamed Puerto Argentino, and fight your hardest to repell the British fleet.
In this 6 mission mini campaign you will find an historically accurate account of the MB-339A's involvement in the falkland war. Planes (including the actual bort numbers), dates and times, troops movements, AAA postions and ships name and position have been researched and accurately reproduced. Each mission has a Briefing and a debriefing document, several custom kneeboard pages, and lots of dialogues for a total of more than 200 voice overs. Inside the package you'll also find custom skins for the 339 (adapted fr om the excellent skin already provided by IFE) and other Argentinian planes.

2.0 Campaign overhaul:
- Added a new version of the campaign wh ere the WWII assets pack, leander class mod, and type 21 frigate mod are required (the vanilla version is and will always remain still available)
- Added new skin for the HMS Argonaut, Round-top class ships (on the Tilde as a stand-in), Harrier FRS.1 early and late (AV-8B)
- Now all units are hidden in the mission planner, no more spoilers!
- In mission two the radials are now correct for 1982 magnetic declination and the voiceover updated, also added warnings to the player about the offset approach
- Added my checklist for the MB-339A
- I had to separate the livery package in a second download due to DCS maximum file size limits

- Reduced not essential units in mission 5 to improve loading times and compatibility
- Changed weather in mission 6 as a workaround to icing changes in the MB-339 that were preventing the player to complete the mission
