OBJECTIVE:
Your mission is to lead a high-speed, low-altitude SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses) strike against an SA-10 SAM site guarding Area 51, clearing the way for two F-117 Nighthawks to execute a high-priority black budget bombing run. Their target: two heavily fortified UFO bunkers, housing recovered alien craft, biologics, and possible human genome experiments.
PRIMARY TASKS:
1. Ingress – Follow steer points 2, 3, and 4, keeping fast and low to avoid detection. Maintain terrain masking to minimize exposure to radar.
2. Engage SA-10 – Once in range, fire your HARM missiles and neutralize the SA-10 SAM site. This will allow the F-117s to proceed with their bombing run.
3. Cover the Nighthawks – Stay alert for MiG-29 interceptors scrambled from Area 51 once your presence is detected. Engage and eliminate any aerial threats.
4. Survive and RTB – After mission success, return to base or evade enemy pursuit.
MISSION TIMELINE:
• 0415 Hours – Wheels up
• 0420 Hours – Low-level ingress past perimeter AA emplacements
• 0430 Hours – SA-10 engagement
• 0435 Hours – F-117s enter the valley (CALLSIGN: Shadow 1 & 2)
• 0440 Hours – Shadow 1 & 2 make left turn, climbing to 20,000 feet
• 0445 Hours – Target in sight, bombs away
• 0450 Hours – Exfiltration & RTB
You will receive four radio callouts from mission command tracking the F-117s’ progress:
1. “Shadow Flight entering the valley.”
2. “Shadow Flight approaching the turn north.”
3. “Shadow Flight on final approach.”
4. “Shadow Flight, bombs away!”
THREAT ASSESSMENT:
• SA-10 SAM SITE – Primary target. Destroy to ensure mission success.
• MiG-29 Fulcrums – Expect Area 51 to scramble fighters once you are detected. Use your AIM-9X and AIM-120C to engage as necessary.
• Perimeter AA Encampments – Scattered man-portable and vehicle-mounted AA guns. Stay low to avoid detection.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE:
• Destroy transport aircraft stationed at Area 51 to disrupt logistical operations.
NOTES:
• If the F-117s are shot down, the mission fails.
• Speed and precision are critical. The longer you take, the greater the enemy response.
• This mission never happened.
