This mod adds American and Norwegian squadrons to your logbook, and allows pilot to fly for the United States Navy or the United States Marine Corps in addition to the default nations. The USN and USMC "countries" have their own sets of insignia and share a set of medals. Additionally, the proper USA medals will now include the "Combat V" as applicable.
For DCS World 2.8.6.41363 and later only.

The mod also adds certain aircraft to different nations. Predominantly, the F-4 Phantom II has been added to nations who flew it historically (including USA, UK, Australia), most of the Eastern Bloc aircraft have been added to the USA inventory for scenario flexibility, and the MiG-29A has been added to Georgia and the Insurgents to provide more interesting scenarios.
The Master mod should be compatible with any version of DCS World, while the complementary mods may be incompatible with versions of DCS not specified in the title.
**Note that this mod will cause a failure of the multiplayer integrity check.** Hopefully ED will at least remove the "troops" files from the IC in the future.
The optional mods add the following aircraft to the following countries:
F-4E:
Australia
Canada
UK
Insurgents (Fictional)
MiG-29A:
Georgia (Fictional)
Insurgents (Fictional)
Su-25:
Insurgents (Fictional)
and the following aircraft to the USA:
F-4E
Su-25 (Fictional)
Su-25T (Fictional)
Su-27 (Fictional)
Su-33 (Fictional)
MiG-29A/G/S (Fictional)
Installation (OvGME):
IMPORTANT: Deactivate and remove all previous versions prior to installing this mod.
This mod is distributed in OvGME zip format. This assumes that you already have a working OvGME installation for DCS World. If you use JSGME, see the following section.
If you already use OvGME, all you need to do is extract the nested zip files into your OvGME mods folder for DCS World (and DCS OpenBeta if applicable). The individual components of this mod are zipped so that OvGME will read their descriptions and versions and provide this information in the selection menu. You should see four individual components for this mod: the master mod, and then the three optional mods (Aircraft/UK, USN, and USMC), all three of which are mutually exclusive. First, enable the master mod, then the optional mod of your choice. You can enable the Aircraft/UK mod (which will add aircraft to other nations and apply RAF ranks to the UK), the USN mod (which is like the Aircraft/UK mod except it also replaces the USAF Aggressors with the US Navy as a flyable country), or the USMC mod (like the USN mod, except for the US Marine Corps). Even without the USN/USMC mods, the new squadrons have already been added to the USA as well.
Installation (JSGME):
IMPORTANT: Deactivate and remove all previous versions prior to installing this mod.
This assumes that you already have a working JSGME installation for DCS World. If you know just enough to spell JSGME, I recommend looking here for details on using JSGME with DCS World:
http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607
Big takeaway: don't create a folder called "MODS" within DCS World (this is already taken). Call your JSGME Mod folder something like "_MODS" or "GME_MODS".
Once you have JSGME set up, extract the contents of this folder to your _MODS folder, then extract the individual zipfile components directly into your _MODS folder as well (the zipfiles are in OvGME format, and need to be extracted to be JSGME compatible). Enable the Master mod first. Then optionally, you can enable the Aircraft/UK mod (which will add aircraft to other nations and apply RAF ranks to the UK), the USN mod (which is like the Aircraft/UK mod except it also replaces the USAF Aggressors with the US Navy as a flyable country), or the USMC mod (like the USN mod, except for the US Marine Corps). Even without the USN/USMC mods, the new squadrons have already been added to the USA as well.
