Hypersonic Missiles - Putin's Gambit [fictional advanced single player mission]

After repeated warnings by the Kremlin to NATO that expansion east towards it’s borders is unacceptable, Putin finally snaps, so now Oreshnik will fly.  In an audacious full court press, Russia will attempt to annex the entirety of Finland’s border with Russia to create a 25km wide buffer zone against NATO armament, or at the very least create the conditions to force NATO to rethink it’s modus operandi.  We all pray history will not remember this as the beginning of WW3.

On the morning of April 5th, the day after Finish accession to NATO membership, Oreshnik will be deployed on all military facilities west of the proposed buffer zone in order to generate fear and confusion, Hinds will be deployed to disable all of the SAM sites that pepper the border ahead of the deployment of troops tasked with securing the buffer zone before joining an armored column that’s on it’s way to Salla, in order to make preparations for an FOB.  Missiles will be utterly useless for this mission as any attempt to gain a line of sight over the tree tops will immediately result in a missile launch so you’ll have to employ rockets and machine guns instead.  The missile base is located in the area of Kelloselkä, fly low and fast just above the trees and avoid open fields, if you can’t smell the pine, the missiles will start flying.
