The British Forces are almost ready to drive into Caen, but first they must take the surrounding villages...
Two columns of British tanks (6 Cromwells and 4 Shermans) are advancing towards the town of Buron. Coming to defend it are two groups of German panzers. P-51s are to engage the German armour before they can take out the weaker British tanks. B-17s are also inbound to hit a target near the area. Spitfires and Fw-190s will be in the air near Caen, and the Luftwaffe must surely be sending in some interceptors against the bombers.
Blue Orders:
Defend our tanks!
Our tanks are advancing on Buron. We must defend them.
P-51 (Colt) task: Perform CAS on the German tanks advancing on Buron fr om the southwest. Base: Rucqueville
Spitfire (Enfield) task: Make sure that the P-51s aren't attacked by any German fighters! Base: Beny-sur-mer
P-51 (Ford) task: Protect the bombers as they attack Carpiquet airfield! Base: Tangmere
Bullseye: Buron.
Red Orders:
Defend Caen!
Fw-190 (Springfield) task: Attack any CAS planes in the area and make sure that our tanks stay alive.
Bf. 109 (Uzi) task: Intercept the bombers! They are heading towards Caen fr om the channel.
Base: Evreux
Bullseye: Buron
Mission will be updated as new WWII assets are added, like Flak, B-17 bombs, etc.
